HVAC Lab at Judith Nyman SS
In April 2024, we proudly unveiled a state-of-the-art, fully operational HVAC lab—designed and donated by HiMark—at Judith Nyman Secondary School in Brampton, Ontario.
The lab is outfitted with a wide range of gas-fired appliances, including a high-efficiency furnace with air conditioner, gas range, hot water tank, ductless heat pump, and fireplace. This hands-on setup gives students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of HVAC using real-world household equipment they may already recognize from home.
After construction was completed, we also supported the creation of an ‘Introduction to HVAC’ curriculum specifically designed for secondary school students. This course allows students to explore their career potential in the skilled trades and gain a strong foundation for future training and certification.
In continued partnership with the Peel District School Board and the Skills Council of Canada, we have also delivered a dozen of Try-a-Trade bootcamps and 8-week introductory HVAC summer programs to hundreds of students across the region, making full use of this cutting-edge lab. Our mission is to share our passion and expertise in HVAC education while preparing more individuals for rewarding, in-demand careers in the HVAC industry.
