HiMark’s Charity Golf Tournament 2024 was a resounding success!
Thank you to all the participants, sponsors, staff and friends for coming out to support HiMark’s Annual Golf Tournament held on August 7, 2024 at Banty’s Roost Golf & Country Club.
The event was a great success: with over 140 players that came out on the course and the many others that joined for the post tournament dinner, an impressive $15,510.00 was raised and will be donated to our non-profit partner Support Ontario Youth (SOY).
Sam Adams, president of HiMark, would like to personally thank everyone for their participation and generous support, “This is the first year we decided to utilize our golf tournament to raise money for a charitable cause, and SOY was our top choice to help support the broader skilled trades community. We are greatly appreciative of SOY for their diligent effort in promoting skilled trades to the next generation as well as their active role in facilitating between industries, trade partners, government bodies, school boards, and prospective apprentices. Supporting the future of the skilled trades workforce takes a collaborative effort between us all. HiMark is committed to contribute and give back to the community through our top-tier training programs, our continuous outreach efforts and all charitable endeavors.”
Melanie Winter, Executive Director of SOY, expressed deep gratitude for HiMark’s initiative and the generous contributions of all participants. “We are incredibly thankful to HiMark for their commitment to supporting the skilled trades and for choosing SOY as the beneficiary of this fantastic event. The success of this tournament is a testament to the strong community support for the skilled trades. The funds raised will go a long way in helping us continue our mission to mentor, guide, and support the next generation of tradespeople as they navigate their apprenticeship journeys.” For more information about SOY, please visit www.supportontarioyouth.ca.
