Using Module 25 we will cover various aspects and applications involving liquid propane including properties, characteristics, safe handling, related legal documents, liquid propane components, pumps, compressors and vaporizers.
At the end of this module technicians will be able to:
Describe the physical properties of propane and chemical reactions in different situations.
Identify the codes, standards, and regulations that apply to liquid propane installations and describe specific requirements.
Describe the purpose, features, types, applications, requirements, testing, maintenance, and repair procedures for ISC valves, pumps, compressors, emergency shut-off valves and bulkheads, vaporizers, meters, remote dispensing devices, and other components used with liquid propane.

LIQUID PROPANE Course Information
Using Module 25 we will cover various aspects and applications involving liquid propane including properties, characteristics, safe handling, related legal documents, liquid propane components, pumps, compressors and vaporizers.
Purpose: To continue to protect the health and safety of the HiMark community from the spread of COVID-19.
Scope: This policy applies to all HiMark employees, contractors, volunteers, and students on HiMark campuses.

Prior to coming to class or attending co-op (if applicable) note the following:
• You are to complete a daily self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms. If you have symptoms that are not related to a pre-existing condition, do not come to campus, or attend your scheduled to attend co-op.
• If you have come into close contact with anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 14 days, DO NOT come to class, practical or attend any scheduled co-op placements.
• Symptoms may include:
o 1 of the following: fever, cough, difficulty breathing, decrease or loss of taste/smell,
o 2 or more of the following: sore throat, headache, feeling very tired, runny nose/nasal congestion, muscle aches/joint pain, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
• If you have tested positive for COVID-19
o And you are fully vaccinated, you must complete your 5 days of isolation before returning to class and/or attending your scheduled co-op (as applicable)
o And you are NOT fully vaccinated, you must complete your 10 days of isolation before returning to class and/or attending your scheduled co-op (as applicable)
Throughout the day:
• Masks must always be worn properly (covering nose and mouth).
• Wash hands frequently for at least 20 seconds, use alcohol-based sanitizers when soap and water are not available.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Co-op Students:
• Ask the co-op sponsor about their specific COVID policies, i.e. masks, gloves, travel to and from job sites.
• Follow the policies and purchase all PPE required.
• If you cannot attend your co-op for any reason, contact us at your local campus number below.
Hand sanitizer will be provided at multiple areas throughout your campus.
Public health guidance on measures for dealing with COVID-19 may continue to evolve and could affect this policy.
FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THIS POLICY WILL RESULT IN YOU BEING SENT HOME.
